This weekend I had honor of be part of a the Sahumadoras initiation with Lolita Vargas an extraodinary and wise woman who shared with us her knowledge in a so generous and passionate way.
I should say that I have tried before to participate but it wasnt the right time so I felt so enthusiastic about it, I prepared my bag with my sahumador, ocote to turn on the fire, charbon, copal, matches and an open heart to receive Lolita Vargas knowledge.
The purpose of the Sahumadora is to bring, spread and share the light with love and respect, we contain the energy and reconcil nature with the human beings.
After being someone who fight with the masculine energy now Im able to understand conciuosly why the femenine and the masculine are necessary for the balance in our life and inthe world. Mother Nature is wise and the Sun exist with the Moon, water and earth, and men and women, in poetic way we represent the sacred vessel that contains masculine energy and by honoring that energy in me I can honor everyones energy.
The main event was to veil the sacred fire during the full night waiting for the sunrise to arrive. Meanwhile we played songs, support each other to dont fall sleep, we made some flower mandalas as an offering to the fire, we also talk with the Grandfather fire and pray for our intentions and our beloved ones, having a clear mind and a pure heart it is impirtant when talking to the elements, cause this will be the biginning of a great responsability
My heart and soul are fullfiled of love and joy for have had the opportunity of learnt and lived this magnificcent experience with Abuela Lolita and all those powerful women who made the journey and extraodinary experience.
