Annie began her herbal studies at a young age with her grandmother Belén Rios, who instructed her in the preparation of limpias using eggs, herbs and aguardiente.

She subsequently pursued linguistic studies at the Universidad Veracruzana, specialising in French, which would eventually lead her to the Riviera Maya more than 15 years ago.

In 2017, she completed a training programme in fire ceremonies with her teacher Irene Soto Albores, learning about energetic cuts, cleansings and abundance ceremonies.

In 2020, she embarked on her Ayahuasca journey under the guidance of Arturo Lopez in Xochipilli. retreat Center.
She is currently being instructed by Amina Gomez Tezcatlahuiz in the practice of Ayahuasca.

During this period, she discovered that she has the gift of Mediumnid, channeling messages from transcended beings, from her spiritual guides and from the people she accompanies.
As part of her training as a medium, she completed the Intangible Lab workshop of Evidential Mediumship in 2023 with her teacher Sebastian Lia.

Simultaneously, under the guidance of Lolita Vargas Cortes, also known as “Malinalticitl”, she received her initiation into the conchera tradition. In 2024, she received her sacred fire at Core Crisalida. There, she began her journey as a Sahumadora and light bearer in her copalera.

In addition, by practicing the Yoruba religion with her godmother Reyna Lopez, a santera and spiritualist with more than 40 years of experience, she has learned to hold and conduct spiritualistic sessions.

She is currently undergoing training to become a menstrual therapist with the School of Feminine Cyclicity, under the tutelage of Brianda Rodriguez Romualdo.

Finally, she began her service as a water woman in the Temazcal of Paula Vargas CihuatlOceotl.
